The conflict of meanings, or the Crisis of the US electoral system
The results of the US presidential election in 2020 represent the exact opposite of the outcome that was hoped for both in the United States and abroad. Instead of giving clarity to the future of America, its people and its politics, the November 3 elections actually plunged the "land of the free" into a chaos of existential uncertainty, deprived Americans of confidence in the future and inflamed the hostility of opposing political forces to the limit.
