Russia and Vietnam: Friendship that has passed through decades
The year 2020 is rich in anniversaries in the history of Russian-Vietnamese relations. One of the most significant is the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. On January 30, 1950, the Soviet Union was one of the first to recognize the young Vietnamese state, thereby laying the foundations of long-term friendship and close cooperation between our countries. We were together during the difficult years of the Vietnamese people's struggle for freedom and independence, repelling foreign aggression, and post-war peace building. The interaction between Moscow and Hanoi has passed the test of time, has hardened and strengthened, has acquired a multifaceted and truly special character.

Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership: continuing traditions, confidently looking to the future
70 years ago, on January 30, 1950, the Soviet Union officially established diplomatic relations with the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, becoming one of the first States in the world to recognize it. Thus, the USSR demonstrated a high degree of solidarity with the Vietnamese people in their struggle for a just cause. The foundation of these close ties between the two peoples was laid during the trip of President Ho Chi Minh, who three decades before the mentioned date visited Soviet Russia in search of a way to liberate Vietnam from feudal and colonial oppression. Since then, despite the distance separating us, we are spiritually close and, being ardent patriots, we overcome countless difficulties and challenges shoulder to shoulder, forging traditions of special friendship between the two peoples.

The most burning issue is the preservation of Iran's independence and power
Iran is ready to negotiate and does not ignore any proposal. In the current conditions, dialogue is possible only when sanctions are lifted. Pressure is not a method of negotiation. One of the parties - the United States - violates the agreement, imposes broad sanctions, and then offers, ignoring the JCPOA, negotiations. Iran stated that if the sanctions are lifted, it is quite possible to continue the dialogue in various formats. Now Iran is a player that is ready to conduct a dialogue, but within the framework of preserving its sovereignty, independence and compliance with the norms of international law.

The history of the annexation of Bessarabia to Russia. A new reading of the topic - a lesson not for the future?
After the collapse of the USSR, almost every former Soviet republic develops a tendency to revise the history of the "fraternal family of the peoples of the USSR". In Moldova, among other things, the events of the Russo-Turkish War of 1806-1812 and the Bucharest Agreement, which provided for the entry of Bessarabia into the Russian Empire, were also rewritten. According to the Moldovan side, the annexation of Bessarabia to Russia in 1812 was qualified as the dismemberment of the state of Moldova and the annexation by Russia of the territory between the Prut and the Dniester. Although at that time such a state did not appear on the world map yet.
