We should not avoid the dialogue with NATO in any format that fits the situation. The meeting
of the Russia-NATO Council that had not been convened for over two years and that took place
several days after the Warsaw summit meant that Moscow and Brussels knew that the commu-
nication channels should remain open. This is all the more important at the time when their re-
lations sometimes breed problems that should be promptly resolved.
